We have witnessed great advancements in emerging technologies over the past decades. Use cases of AR/VR technologies relating to Building Information Modeling (BIM) management and communication became a common practice nowadays. More creative studies researching alternative structural possibilities by introducing AR/VR technologies are emerging on a daily basis. Inheriting the knowledge from SteamPunk pavilion and Steam
Odyssey installation project. Fluid dynamics explores potential application of such fabrication products in larger context such as facade. Instead of looking at it as 1:1 prototype, this is more of an experimental exercise to understand possible design application of such structure to be a building enclosure. next generation of this branch of research is expected to explore integration of building enclosure materials such as glass, ETFE etc.
