This workshop introduces to a generative approach to digital design and robotic making with the goal of unifying design and production within the creative process. Students will develop skills and experience in visual programming, robot motion planning, as well working be with materials such as clay and concrete. The course explore design as the outcome of materially formative processes of computation and production, and will employ robots to make 2.5D clay surfaces, that act as the negative mold for concrete casted panels. The main objective of this course is an introduction about materials and computational tools and introduce them into robotics and making. In this workshop will learn the basic
principles of weaving parametric modeling software, robotics and analog processes into a bespoke production workflow.
Materials that were used were clay, concrete and wood for the scaffolding. Software’s used for the course were Rhino/
grasshopper. It includes building of physical prototypes.

The overview of the workshop are as follows:-
1. Grasshopper - Plugins & Templates
2. Working with Clay
3. Manual experiments
4. Robotic Stamping
5. Casting Concrete
6. Making Stamps
7. Unmolding
8. Assembly of the Objects
9. Photographs
